Christine grew up with a passion for gymnastics. She started gymnastics at age four and was a competitive gymnast at competitions in Canada and the USA. While still training as a gymnast she started sharing her passion for the sport by coaching, after retiring as a competitive gymnast around age 16 she continued with coaching as a level 2 coach, and a level 2 judge. Christine has coached up north in Quesnel, in Victoria (for 2 gyms) and here in Nanaimo (for two gyms before Flipside). She is a mother of 3 and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Liberal Studies. Over the years between coaching, going to school and being a mother, Christine also ran her own daycare center. Currently, and for the past 4 years, Christine works as an independent contractor as a Behavioural Interventionist and life skills coach for children who have been diagnosed with autism.
